I am Nataliya and I am happy to share information about me and services that I provide. My qualifications include the completion of a Bachelor of Science Degree in Psychology and a Master’s Degree in Counseling from NC State University. Also, I am a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
I speak fluent Russian and Ukrainian languages.
I specialize in family, adult, adolescent and child therapy.
My focus is to provide a safe, comfortable, and supportive environment where you can express yourself in the freeway.
My goal is to identify the problem that you need help with and develop a plan to achieve this goal. My professional experience includes working at a wide range of mental health settings such as outpatient mental health agencies, high schools, community colleges, and government agencies.
I am a certified Level 1 TEAM-CBT therapist.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Imago Therapy, REBT (Rational-Emotive Behavioral Therapy), Gestalt Therapy, Person-Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) with elements of Mindfulness and focusing techniques in my counseling approach.
I am also certified in Animal-Assisted Therapy.
My co-therapist is a Sphynx cat Lambert.
Having a cat at the therapy session of course is optional.
