Luke Sasser   CMPC
Intern

Hello, my name is Luke Sasser.

I am currently a student in Campbell University’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program and expect to graduate in Spring 2027.

I am also a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC) through the Association for Applied Sport Psychology.

I earned a Master of Science in Applied Sport Psychology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro and a Master of Education from Vanderbilt University. Additionally, I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from the George Washington University, where I was also a member of the men’s basketball team.

My experiences in athletics helped guide me toward the field of sport psychology and ultimately inspired my path into counseling. Through both my academic training and personal experiences, I have developed a passion for helping individuals navigate challenges, build resilience, and work toward meaningful personal growth.

I believe that each client is unique and deserves an individualized approach to counseling. I strive to create a therapeutic environment that is authentic, supportive, and grounded in trust. I view counseling as a collaborative process where clients are empowered to explore their experiences, strengths, and goals. My goal is to support clients as they build insight, resilience, and lasting change
