Children, Adolescents & Adults

Hi, my name is Leslie Potter.

I hold a Master of Education in Counselor Education from North Carolina State University and have nearly 15 years of experience providing counseling services in a wide range of clinical and community-based settings. Throughout my career, I have worked with children, adolescents, adults, families, and veterans, supporting clients through trauma, life transitions, and emotional challenges with compassion and care.

My professional background includes private practice, community mental health, crisis intervention, sexual assault advocacy, and work with individuals on the autism spectrum. I have also provided trauma-focused services to veterans, including exposure-based work, and I am trained in EMDR and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.

My therapeutic approach is strengths-based, collaborative, and trauma-informed. I strive to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, respected, and empowered. I believe therapy works best when it is grounded in genuine connection and tailored to each individual’s unique experiences, needs, and goals.

Together, we work toward healing, increased self-awareness, and meaningful, sustainable change.
