Hi, my name is LaCresha Davis.

I graduated from University of Northern Iowa with a Bachelor's in Family Services.  I attended Kennesaw State University and obtained Master’s in Conflict Resolution, which provided professional mediation training.  In 2012, I completed a second Master’s in Mental Health Counseling

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), a Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS), National Certified Counselor (NCC).

I work with adolescents (ages 10+) and adults in individual and/or family sessions.

I have over 15 years experience working in a variety of behavioral health settings to include being a Residential Counselor, Multi-Systemic Therapist, and Intensive Outpatient Group Therapist.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, I utilize an eclectic style of psychotherapy that utilizes techniques from Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Motivational Interviewing

  • This combination of approaches along with being a professional mediator, allows for an understanding that every individual will be at different stages of change and self-awareness.

I strongly believe that you are the expert in your life and therapy is a tool to allow for greater understanding of self.  The therapeutic relationship is an important component to facilitate the opportunity for honest communication which can truly impact your life.  This honest communication allows for discovering and appreciating your personal resiliency factors and provide a firm foundation for true personal growth.
