Hi. I am Faye Caraballo, a Clinician with DRG and a Licensed Psychologist Associate (LPA) in North Carolina.

I grew up in the town of Wake Forest, NC.  I completed my Undergraduate followed by Graduate degree at East Carolina University (1990) in Clinical Psychology.

I was then awarded my N.C. license by the 

NC psychology Board, #1427.

I have worked for the past 30 years in Mental Healthcare. 

Over the years, I have worked in Mental Health Centers, Inpatient Psych units, Nursing homes, Private Practice & Schools.  For the past 13 years I have worked for the N.C. Department of Public Safety within the Prison system in cities of Rocky Mount and Raleigh.

I have had many varied experiences & trainings over my career.  Some of my experiences have been in Psychological Testing, Individual & Family Psychotherapy.

My present focus in Counseling involves treating children, adolescents, families & couples.  For children, I provide a safe, warm and supportive environment where children can play freely & express their feelings. I often confer with parents & together we develop treatment plans for their children.

For Adolescents, I utilize a supportive and collaborative approach, making the limits of confidentiality clear.

Some of my approaches that I have had success with have been utilizing Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI). I bring a non-judgmental approach and cultural sensitivity in my practice working with Individuals and families.  I look forward to working with you!
