Casey Webb, LCSWA

Children, Adolescents & Adults

Hello, my name is Casey Webb.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in North Carolina.

I have focused on working with individuals from a trauma-informed perspective.

My approach to therapeutic treatment is person-centered which means that the goals of wellness are based from a collaborative team approach.

I believe that each person is an expert of their own lives and that they should work in partnership with professionals without biased approaches that stem from belief systems outside of their own.  Each individual presents with unique strengths and challenges that will help predict the right treatment modality and interventions according to their own needs. Specific evidence-based approaches include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Motivational Interviewing.

I offer individual and family therapy and have gained extensive knowledge of the needs of adolescents, parents and families of varying ages and developmental stages.

I have also continued to gain experience and knowledge by working directly with the elderly (65+) and identifying the needs of this population over the past 9 years.

I aim to create a space where all humans feel safe and respected while remaining free from judgement regardless of the complexity of their challenges. I have significant experience working with individuals who are challenged by the effects of depression, anxiety, ADHD, PTSD, mood disorders, eating disorders and additional complex mental health disorders. In addition, my experience includes working with children and adolescents who are survivors of traumatic experiences including, but not limited to grief & loss, witnessing domestic violence, abuse & neglect consisting of sexual, physical and emotional experiences.

I have gained significant knowledge throughout my experience working with children and adolescents and families that help represent my conclusion that we are able to give shame permission to cease when stories can be told and processed in safe environments.

I often incorporate mindfulness and self-compassion in my work as it relates to the core issues of presenting challenges and concerns.
